Overview

The villa sits on a private 40 acre plot planted with avocados and citrus trees. It is ideal for a large family or group of friends looking for rural seclusion, yet wanting to be close to good amenities including Nick Faldo´s new “Amendoeiras” golf course, only 5 minutes away from the villa.   

The interior is modern and full of natural light. There are mosquito nets on all secondary windows so that you can keep them open on hot days, the main “French” windows are fitted with shutters and there is air-conditioning throughout the villa. All the bedrooms (3 double and 3 twins) have en-suite bathrooms, chestnut wood floors and underfloor heating. The other rooms have terracotta tiled floors and the large reception and dining rooms “French” windows open onto a covered terrace for eating outdoors, looking down to the beautiful garden with rockery, flowers and shrubs but mostly laid to lawn and with pines trees providing plenty of shade.   

The garden and swimming pool (with heating on request), outdoor shower and barbeque area with pizza oven are enclosed by a natural stone wall which allows one to look out but provides total privacy. There is also a home gym and championship size tennis court at the rear of the property and a shaded games area (table tennis and table football) plus parking for several cars.   

Silves is only a short distance away and offers several food shops, banks and restaurants. This ancient Moorish castle town also hosts a number of different festivals throughout the summer, as well as housing a selection of good value and fun eateries and bars. There are several beaches and golf courses within a short driving distance.
