Sundance at Tryall

Overview

The villa offers a level of comfort that is sumptuous, and no expense has been spared in creating a residential masterpiece that will hold immense appeal for families as well as groups of adults.

Sundance is built mostly on one level with a magnificent flow of space that is typically Caribbean and so easy to navigate. The architecture is classically Jamaican, with the sense that the outside is being brought inside. The emphasis really is on comfort at Sundance; designer fabrics have been specifically chosen for each room, and the collection of paintings and objects has been carefully curated throughout. Of particular note are the beautifully landscaped gardens – both external and internal, and to the far right of the house, a superb walking garden has been laid out. There is a highly productive kitchen garden, the produce of which is used in the villa's kitchen.

The heart of Sundance is the superb veranda that runs the entire width of the house. It flows seamlessly from a dining gazebo to numerous seating areas, a heated pool gazebo and bar with a large television, and an elegant indoor sitting room. The large swimming pool is positioned in the center of the veranda with attractive pool furniture surrounding it. A short flight of stairs leads up to a viewing bar and a second dining area – a popular retreat for evening drinks. To the east, and in the lower enclosed gazebo, is a private gym.

There are seven bedrooms, each with a distinct design theme, and all are accessed from the veranda, apart from one, which is on a lower level close to the gym and with direct access to the gardens. Four bedrooms have king-size beds, and three bedrooms have twin beds that can be converted to a king. All have immaculate en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers; one king bedroom and two of the twin bedrooms also have a bathtub, and a further king bedroom has an indoor as well as an outdoor shower. The owner’s suite (only available when 7 or 6 bedrooms are booked) is at the eastern end of the veranda. It comprises an extremely large bedroom with a spectacular bathroom and a separate, equally large private sitting room that opens to a covered veranda. Both rooms are sumptuously furnished in the classic style, and this is a suite that affords tremendous privacy and comfort.

A highly professional team is on hand to look after you and comprises a butler, chef, two housekeepers, a laundress, and two gardeners.

The Tryall Club Membership 

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf.  Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

*Tryall Club Temporary Membership Dues

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf.  Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

The Tryall Club requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership, with dues of $45 per day per person for all stays. Children ages 13 to 15 are discounted to $25 per child per day. For children 12 years and younger, the Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary.

Please note: There may be occasions when some or all hotel facilities are closed to membership guest services due to a private hotel event. The Tryall Club reserves the right to change its membership packages without advance notice.

REGISTRATION

When your driver brings you to Tryall, you will check in at the front desk.  You will be asked to present your passport as identification.  You will sign a waiver & need to provide a valid driver's license for the use of the complimentary golf carts at the villa, as well as any additional golf carts you may wish to rent.

The Tryall Club can set up an account for your stay.  A credit card is required at check-in, and a credit hold will be placed until check-out for budgetary items & signing privileges (i.e., groceries, restaurant dining, golf, and activities).  The calculated credit hold amount is approximately US$150 per bedroom per night.  If you plan to pay your Folio Account in cash, they will require a cash deposit.  If you plan to pay by credit card, they will place a hold on your card. 

The Tryall Club will charge your credit card or take a cash payment for the Temporary Membership Dues of $45 per person, per day for all stays. Children ages 13 to 15 are discounted to $25 per child per day.  Children 12 years and younger are complimentary.  

Golf Cart Waiver & Indemnification

If you would like to use the golf carts supplied by the villa, you will be asked to sign a golf cart damage waiver form on arrival.

You agree to always operate the golf cart safely and courteously at The Tryall Club. You agree to be responsible for any or all damages and replacement costs if you use the golf cart during your stay.  You also agree to the following rules:

• Golf Cart Operator must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing, or other misuse of the golf cart will not be tolerated.  Golf Carts must remain within the gates of the resort and are not permitted outside the gates.
• Passengers must always be seated when the cart is in motion. Feet/legs, arms, and the entire body must remain inside the cart.
• Report any malfunctions or cart problems to management immediately.
