Skyline at Tryall

Overview

From the crest of the hill, at the heart of the Tryall property, adjacent to the elegant 18th-century Georgian Great House, Skyline looks over a sweeping panorama of lush forestry, blue seas, and the picturesque Tryall fairways. A short walk takes you to the tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pool, Kids’ Club, Massage center, beauty salon, and much more. Two minutes by golf cart or shuttle will get you to the beach and the championship golf course.

Built over two levels and with stunning views, the bedroom is on the entrance level beyond the entrance hall and has a four-poster king bed as well as a standalone Jacuzzi tub, which can be closed off. The en suite bathroom has a travertine-lined walk-in shower and adjacent closets. French doors in the bedroom open to the balcony for you to enjoy the splendid views.

The lower-level open-plan living area includes a fully equipped kitchen as well as a second bathroom. There is a pull-out sofa in the living room that caters to additional sleeping requirements. French doors open to a private patio and garden with wonderful views.

Daily housekeeper and laundry services are provided. Breakfast can be delivered to the villa or the housekeeper will prepare breakfast for you – whichever you prefer. Lunch and dinner are available at the Beach Restaurant, and an in-villa dining service is available from the restaurant's dinner menu.

The Tryall Club Membership 

A significant amenity for guests in this villa is membership at the excellent Tryall Club.  On 2,200 acres, Tryall’s golf course is among the most beautiful in the world.  Its 18 hillside and seaside fairways have been home to the Johnnie Walker, Mazda, and other PGA championship events.  The resident pro offers workshops and private lessons.   The Tryall Tennis Club features 4 Agile Turf courts and 5 Nova Cushion courts, some of which are lit for night play, with world-class pros on call.  All white attire is required. 

The beach is well-planned for parents and children. Have lunch at the beach bar.  Work out in the well-equipped gym and compete in the Usain Bolt Games Room at the Great House (teens love it).  Jog the marked trails. Snorkeling, kayaking, Hobie Cat, and sunfish are complimentary. Glass-bottom boats, charter fishing, a boat to the reef, and any captained craft incur various fees.  Enjoy weekly events like a complimentary Manager’s Cocktail Party on Mondays, as well as Beach BBQ and Reggae Night beach parties for an additional fee.

*Tryall Club Temporary Membership Dues

The Tryall Club is a private club where members may use most facilities at no charge except for the tennis shop, ball boys, bar & restaurant, spa, motorized watersports, nanny services, and golf.  Complimentary amenities include the beach, non-motorized watersports, tennis, the fitness room, the Hummingbird Kids Club, Great House afternoon tea, the Manager's Cocktail Party, and various special events.

The Tryall Club requires all villa and condo guests to become members during their stay via a Temporary Membership, with dues of $45 per day per person for all stays. Children ages 13 to 15 are discounted to $25 per child per day. For children 12 years and younger, the Temporary Membership Dues are complimentary. 

Plan to pay your TMD fee at the Front Desk in the Great House when you register (see below).

Please note: There may be occasions when some or all hotel facilities are closed to membership guest services due to a private hotel event. The Tryall Club reserves the right to change its membership packages without advance notice.

REGISTRATION

When your driver brings you to Tryall, you will check in at the front desk.  You will be asked to present your passport as identification.  You will sign a waiver & need to provide a valid driver's license for the use of the complimentary golf carts at the villa, as well as any additional golf carts you may wish to rent.

The Tryall Club can set up an account for your stay.  A credit card is required at check-in, and a credit hold will be placed until check-out for budgetary items & signing privileges (i.e., groceries, restaurant dining, golf, and activities).  The calculated credit hold amount is approximately US$150 per bedroom per night.  If you plan to pay your Folio Account in cash, they will require a cash deposit.  If you plan to pay by credit card, they will place a hold on your card. 

The Tryall Club will charge your credit card or take a cash payment for the Temporary Membership Dues of $45 per person, per day for all stays. Children ages 13 to 15 are discounted to $25 per child per day.  Children 12 years and younger are complimentary.  

Golf Cart Waiver & Indemnification

If you would like to use the golf carts supplied by the villa, you will be asked to sign a golf cart damage waiver form on arrival.

You agree to always operate the golf cart safely and courteously at The Tryall Club. You agree to be responsible for any or all damages and replacement costs if you use the golf cart during your stay.  You also agree to the following rules:

• Golf Cart Operator must be a minimum of 18 years of age and must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Golf Carts must be operated properly. Horseplay, racing, or other misuse of the golf cart will not be tolerated.  Golf Carts must remain within the gates of the resort and are not permitted outside the gates.
• Passengers must always be seated when the cart is in motion. Feet/legs, arms, and the entire body must remain inside the cart.
• Report any malfunctions or cart problems to management immediately.

 Additional Information

Staff

Your cheerful Housekeeper is available from 8:30 am to 4:40 pm daily. She takes care of your breakfast and lunch, manages your laundry, and keeps your villa impeccably clean and tidy.

For other meals, we recommend exploring the restaurants at Tryall, one of their special theme nights, or venturing into Montego Bay to try the restaurants there. On special request, the housekeeper can prepare simple meals and leave them for you to serve at your convenience. Please note that an extra charge of $30 per meal applies for this personalized service, and additional gratuities for extra meals are at your discretion.
