Cielo Rock House

Overview

It is comprised of a two bedroom, two bathroom main house and an open layout casita with two sleeping spaces.  The compound underwent a hefty redesign led by designer Chad Waterhouse emerging in 2018 year's end as one of Mojave desert's hidden gems.  No expense or thought was spared on this vision.  These intentions can be noted in the interior's deep palette balanced against the desert tones, careful selection of furnishing and materials, and fine details of art and design throughout the home.

Encompassing almost 4100 sq ft, the main house features a master suite and accompanying dressing areas and bath.  The second bedroom has garden views, with bathroom adjacent. The living area features a large fireplace and angled window with views toward the pool and sandy red horizon.  An open kitchen features Calacatta stone countertop with waterfall veins continuous to the floor. 

The guest house is an open space delineated by a wall to create two sleeping areas. One space, serving more as a bedroom is equipped with a king bed.  The living area includes a couch, TV and a full bed. Exterior spaces include a terrace with fire pit, alfresco dining table and fireplace, and various lounge beds and seating desert or pool-side. 

The Cielo Rock Home is one of best we have seen that again capitalizes on the surrounding vistas and landscape. Endless Hiking trails adjacent and mature desert landscaping also become the focal point as breathtaking living art.
